Tableau Report Migration to Looker

An American ticketing company that sells movie tickets via their website as well as through their mobile app required a solution to migrate its Tableau reporting to Looker.

• Migration of Tableau reports to Looker
• Used existing Tableau Dashboards as a source of truth for Looker reports
• Setup and Configured required data connections in Looker
• Implemented generic Models on top of the Redshift in Looker using LookML language
• Built dashboards in Looker using generic Models and Derived tables
• Implemented Role based security to control dashboard access on server
• Scheduled the Monthly/Daily/Weekly task to send dashboard output to the various business person/studios through email
• Implemented and scheduled (triggered) PDT tables to optimize the dashboard performance
• Created Tableau specific features (Ex- FIXED, Blending) in Looker using a LookML
