Neelesh Desai

Neelesh Desai is Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board at Bitwise, where he leads strategic growth, governance, and innovation with a focus on building resilient, scalable enterprise capabilities. Alongside fellow co-founders, Neelesh has guided Bitwise’s transformation from a niche technology firm into a globally respected partner in data engineering and digital transformation, known for its differentiated offerings and disciplined delivery approach. He is passionate about mentoring the executive team, shaping long-term strategy, and fostering a culture of candor and out-of-the-box thinking. Neelesh holds a master’s degree in Computer Applications and, prior to founding Bitwise, worked on consulting assignments in the banking and credit card industries across the US and UK, serving complex, highly regulated environments. Outside of work, Neelesh enjoys adventure sports, motorcycle touring, and actively volunteers with the Bitwise Foundation.
