Opening Doors to Learning: Bitwise Foundation’s Impact 2024-25

At Bitwise Foundation, our educational programs, in partnership with various NGOs, aim to develop well-rounded individuals by laying a solid foundation in literacy and numeracy. By encouraging reading habits and sparking scientific curiosity, we help shape lifelong learners. Our initiatives also emphasize building self-assurance and enhancing personal growth, with a focus on practical skills like spoken English and supporting students through sponsorships, ensuring they are prepared for both academic achievements and future opportunities.

Our impact at a glance
Empowering Young Minds through Volunteer Efforts

At Bitwise Foundation, we believe empowering young minds means going beyond academics by creating immersive, joyful, and powerful experiences. This quarter, over 150 Bitwisers volunteered more than 300 hours, reaching 1,800+ lives through a series of education-focused initiatives.
From assembling school kits and crafting teaching tools, to donating books through an organization-wide drive, our efforts helped create stronger foundations for underprivileged children. We also joined hands with NGO partners to paint classrooms, turning them into vibrant spaces that spark curiosity and invite exploration.
Our impact extended into digital awareness, where we facilitated cybersecurity training for NGO staff, ensuring safer learning environments for the children they support. Volunteers brought festive cheer through diya painting, celebrated culture with a heritage walk for children, and opened doors to new aspirations by hosting students from underserved communities at our offices. Each initiative was a step towards nurturing potential, building confidence, and inspiring dreams!

Driving Long-Term Educational Impact

Bitwise Foundation partnered with Door Step School Foundation to support three government schools, ensuring 840 children from 1st to 7th grade are equipped with strong language, numeracy, and reading skills. Two pop-up centers were established at construction sites to provide essential education to the 112 children of laborers, ensuring they have access to continuous learning despite their families’ migratory nature. In 2016-17, a school bus was donated, and we continue to cover operational expenses enabling over 400 children to attend school regularly and give them a wider view through exposure visits, removing transportation barriers.

Strengthening Rural Education and Scientific Curiosity

Fourteen home libraries were established across rural areas in collaboration with Vanasthali Rural Development Centre, improving reading and comprehension skills for 258 children and 32 adults while giving them access to a variety of reading material. Bitwise Foundation supported Science project across nine schools at three rural locations, fostering scientific curiosity and critical thinking among 687 students.

Supporting Education for Blind Girls

At NFBM Jagriti School for Blind Girls, Bitwise Foundation supported a Spoken English program for around 99 students from 1st to 12th grade, improving their communication skills and future prospects. Through our scholarship initiative, 24 Bitwisers sponsored 35 students, covering their education, hostel stay, nutrition, and healthcare, ensuring their overall well-being and academic success.

Building Strong Foundations Through Books

Through our Library Project with Akshar Paaul, Bitwise Foundation supported over 200+ students from 2nd to 7th standard at a government school, fostering a love for reading and learning. The initiative enhanced reading, listening, comprehension, and communication skills through engaging stories, interactive sessions, and a welcoming reading space. It’s a step toward nurturing confident, curious learners ready to thrive in and beyond the classroom.

We are moving the needle together toward a happier, brighter, and more hopeful future!
